FST Asset Management is a lodging industry asset management company, specializing in upscale and luxury hotels, resorts, and inns. Based in Seattle, currently serving clients across the U.S. and in Canada, Mexico and Bermuda. We have extensive knowledge and experience in both operations and asset management of high-end lodging facilities and real estate.
THE FST STORY In early 1996, Jim Treadway, with two Seattle-based partners, formed a hotel management company which is today's MTM Luxury Lodging. By 2002, six luxury, independent Northwest properties were under contract and MTM set their sights on the East Coast and California for expansion. In 2002, MTM took on the asset manager's role for The Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C. From that, other opportunities came to MTM for asset management. In 2003, Jim Treadway and his operating partner in MTM, James Simkins, decided to create a separate company with a different orientation and skills set to specialize solely in asset management. So Treadway and Simkins, created FST, and invited Rob Fix to join them in May 2003. Marc Pujalet joined the Company in October 2005 and provided an additional layer of expertise in the sales and marketing field. Clients currently under contract or in a consulting
relationship with FST: The professional careers of Treadway and Simkins include extensive
experience in single and multi-unit upscale and luxury hotel management, as well as asset management. They're experienced
in all areas of lodging, development (including acquisition and disposition), management, and asset management and acquisition,
and have extraordinary skills in the areas of financial management, systems, technology, and engineering in addition to sales
and marketing, rooms and food and beverage operation. Fix's background is centered around development, acquisitions and
dispositions, and financial analysis and management and he provides much of the input for a data-based decision making process. |
